Why this comparison matters
A branded short link like go.yourbrand.com/launch gets more clicks than a random string on a shared domain, and it survives spam filters better. All three tools here let you put your own domain on short links. They differ a lot on how many links you get, how many clicks they will actually track, and what each extra seat or domain costs you.
Those limits are what decide the bill. Rebrandly caps links you create per month. Short.io caps total links on its cheap plans and then removes the cap. TinyURL counts active links and puts expiry dates on its bulk tier. Pick the wrong model for your volume and you will either hit a wall in week two or pay for a plan three times bigger than you need.
We checked each vendor's pricing page in September 2026. Prices below are monthly billing unless stated. Annual billing is cheaper on all three.

Pricing comparison
TinyURL
TinyURL is still the fastest way to shorten a link. Paste a URL on the homepage and you get a tinyurl.com link with no signup. The free account adds one branded domain, a custom alias and basic stats, but link history only goes back a month.
Pro runs about $11 a month, or $9 a month billed annually. You get 3 branded domains, editable destinations, tagging, a dashboard and 10,000 API calls. The catch is a cap of 500 active TinyURLs. Above that, the next step is Bulk at $99 a month for 300,000 URLs and 100,000 API calls, with links expiring after 90 days by default. Enterprise starts at $299 a month on annual billing and adds a 99.9% SLA and an account manager.
Rebrandly
Rebrandly reworked its plans, and the free tier is now much smaller than older reviews describe. Free gives you 10 links, 10 QR codes and 100 tracked clicks per month on 1 custom domain. That is enough to test the product and little else.
- Essentials: $11/mo ($8 annual). 250 links, 2 domains, 10,000 tracked clicks. No seats for teammates.
- Professional: $32/mo ($22 annual). 1,500 links, 3 domains, 25,000 tracked clicks, retargeting pixels, conversion tracking, 2 workspaces and teammates, 6 months of data.
- Growth: $99/mo ($69 annual). 3,500 links, 10 domains, 150,000 tracked clicks, 5 teammates, advanced routing, 1 year of data.
- Enterprise: custom pricing, custom volumes, 2 years of data retention and a dedicated success manager.
Per link, Rebrandly is the most expensive of the three by a wide margin. You are paying for the marketing features and the workspace model.
Short.io
Short.io has the most generous free plan here: 1,000 branded links, 5 custom domains and 50,000 tracked clicks a month. Every paid plan has a 7-day trial with no card required.
- Hobby: $5/mo. 2,500 links, 7 domains, 100,000 tracked clicks, country targeting.
- Pro: $18/mo. Unlimited links and clicks, 10 domains, A/B testing, deep links, region targeting, 10,000 API or bulk-created links a year. One user.
- Team: $48/mo. Unlimited users, 50 domains, 100,000 automated links a year, 99.9% SLA.
- Enterprise: $148/mo. Unlimited domains and automation, SSO.
Read the automation line carefully. On Pro, links created by hand are unlimited, but links made through the API or bulk import stop at 10,000 a year. If you generate links from code, budget for Team.
Use case scenarios
You need a short link right now and nothing else
Pick TinyURL. No account, no domain setup, a working link in five seconds. It is the right tool for a slide deck, a printed flyer or a one-off forum post. For anything going out by email, add a branded domain, because shared tinyurl.com links get flagged by some spam filters.
Solo founder or small business with a branded domain
Pick Short.io. The free plan covers most small sites for months: 1,000 links on your own domain with 50,000 tracked clicks. When you outgrow it, $18 a month removes the link and click caps. Rebrandly's free plan would run out after 10 links, and its $11 plan still stops at 250 links a month.
Marketing team running paid ads and retargeting
Pick Rebrandly Professional or Growth. Retargeting pixels on short links let you build audiences from people who clicked a shared link, even when it points to someone else's site. Pair that with conversion tracking and per-workspace permissions and you have a setup an agency can hand to a client. Short.io is cheaper and covers conversions and A/B tests, but its pricing page does not list pixel retargeting, so confirm that before you switch.
Developers generating links from an app
Pick Short.io Team for most cases. The API allows 50 requests a second on every plan and Team covers 100,000 automated links a year for $48 a month. TinyURL Bulk at $99 gives more raw volume (300,000 URLs a month), which suits throwaway links such as order tracking, but the default 90-day expiry makes it a poor fit for anything that has to keep working.
Mobile app marketing
Pick Short.io Pro. Deep links and A/B tests on destinations arrive at $18 a month. Rebrandly holds advanced routing back until Growth at $99, and TinyURL does not offer deep links at all.
Larger team that needs many seats
Short.io Team gives unlimited users for $48. Rebrandly Growth gives 5 teammates for $99. Unless you need Rebrandly's retargeting, the Short.io plan costs less and allows more seats.
Verdict
Short.io is the best branded link shortener for most people in 2026. It has the best free plan, the lowest price for unlimited links, and features like deep links and A/B testing on a $18 plan. Its weak spots are a plain interface, a single user until the $48 tier and the yearly cap on API-created links. Our score: 7.2.
Rebrandly is the pick for marketing teams whose work depends on retargeting pixels and conversion reports, and who want client workspaces. It is the most polished of the three, and also the most expensive: 1,500 links a month for $32 is thin next to Short.io. Our score: 8.2, for the feature depth. Know that you pay for it.
TinyURL wins on speed and zero friction. Use the free no-signup shortener for quick links and Pro if you want a branded domain with a very simple dashboard. The 500 active link cap on Pro and the lack of retargeting, deep links or A/B testing keep it out of serious campaign work. Our score: 6.5.
If you are unsure, start with Short.io on the free plan, connect your domain and see if you hit a limit. Move to Rebrandly only once you need pixels on your links. Keep TinyURL bookmarked for the times you just need a short link and do not want to log in.
